Arts and culture are powerful tools to transform cities. In this sense, bringing a state of art and shinning a light on marginalized cultures is essential in Milwaukee. Thinking about it VIA CDC; Clarke Square Neighborhood Association and Imagine MKE teamed up to create the Latine Artists Directory.

Focused on bringing together arts and culture resources for Milwaukee South Side neighborhoods, the purpose is to provide tools to build long term capacity for culture and art projects, while improving neighborhoods' vitality. In order to help build long term capacity for coordinated art and culture projects to take shape, in response to each neighborhood's self identified priorities, to help improve neighborhoods and resident well being. 

By bringing together community members and neighborhood organizations with arts and culture partners and independent creative, we plan to build bridges and make connections, to remove the silos that impede change, and leverage the power of arts and culture in South Side neighborhoods,
